Hello,

I am currently looking to upgrade my 3 year old desktop PC in preparation for Elder Scrolls Online. I understand ESO will require a fairly decent PC and I am in the process of saving for a much better system, but for now I am looking for help to simply upgrade my current system as a temporary fix.

My current system is all laid out here - PC Specs

I was thinking a suitable GPU would be the GeForce GTX 650 Ti with a new Corsair CX-500 V3 Power Supply.

Will this fit inside my current case and suit my current Motherboard etc? And do you think I can get away with a cheaper option?

Thank you in advance

You might not need to upgrade your power supply as well just for playing ESO. The radeon 7750 runs just fine on a 300W, so that could be something you should consider.

Well the game is out now and I can tell you that my current specs are enough to play the game, but not smoothly and not enough to make it as enjoyable as it could be.
It runs on just above absolute minimum graphics. I can get away with setting my view distance a little higher, and so long as I'm not in town I can have texture quality at medium. I can't have any grass or shadows or water effects.
Even with everything turned way down I still struggle to stay above 20-25 fps in less intense areas. While I'm in towns it jumps anywhere from 1-20 fps and is sometimes unbearable to play for minutes at a time.

So I guess I will just have to make do with this until I can afford a new system *shrugs* I should have said I'd like to be able to run it better than minimum..
