Hello,

I need to know where I can get the integrated graphics drivers for the Haswell Pentium G3220 CPU. A link would be best. Any help is appreciated. Also what type of graphics are in the CPU (4000, 4400, 4600, 5000?).

Thanks

I aren't sure about the integrated graphics but comparing it to the 3000/4000/4600 it's worse, So maybe 2000?

This help?

When I bought the CPU at NCIX the guy told me that it would be better than my 3rd gen 1 year old i5 notebook with HD 4000 Graphics for performance since its a desktop. Was I lied to?

well, it's probably really close but desktop parts are better then laptop parts, but intel HD graphics 4000 is better but the CPU in a laptop aren't very powerful due to the limitation of a battery. I would still bet that it is slower then the 4000 one in the desktop but not by much.

HD 4000 graphics are HD 4000 graphics regardless of the laptop or desktop chip. It may run a bit slower but it still has 16 shader units as opposed to the HD Graphics in your chip, which only has 10, therefore the 4000 is about 1.6 times more powerful. Couple that with the 1350mhz max speed of the 4000 to the 1000mhz max speed of the HD graphics, and the HD is slower no matter what.

the laptop CPU's are of low power so the GPU will be running slower to the ordinary HD graphics 4000. But the HD in the desktop is defiantly slower but by how much, i don't know, but it is.

Mobile may run a bit slower depending on the clock speed and if on battery, power saving, etc, but they are pretty much the same between the desktop and the mobile version.

I'm sure plugged in and on high performance settings, the laptop gpu will run near the 1000mhz, not far off the 1350mhz max for the desktop version, so maybe 30% difference between a mobile I5 and a I5-3770k. How well that 30% more mhz translates to actual fps, I don't know but not 30%.
