I am building my first system and I'm wanting to start strong. I already have the following pieces:
Fx 8320 CPU w/ a hyper 212 evo cooler
Msi TF gtx 760 gaming gpu
8gb of vengeance ram 1600
1 tb samsung HDD
And I may get a 60 gb ssd to have startup and stuff on
Phantom 410 case

I need help finding the best motherboard for around the $100-$125 range but the better bang for my buck. I'm wanting reliability, a good reputation, and if possible, blue/black color scheme as my computer has that. I think my case can do full ATX boards but whatever you guys think would do the best. And since my gpu is pci-e 3.0, would I need 3.0 or could I just use the normal 2.0's? Usb 3.0 is encouraged since my case has them at the front so I would need to hook those up as well. I can't complain the more features it has. I know you guys can solve this relatively quickly, especially with the mobo specialists out there. It's an AM3+ socket.

In addition to that, I havnt selected a power supply either. People have told me 700+ watts so that I can upgrade in the future and the more the merrier. Any brands that stick out in longevity, build quality, etc from personal experience? I'm looking around the $100 range as that's what most are around but if either of my budgets are too low by a small margin to be able to get something significantly better, I can stretch. I'm already way over budget so might as well.

Thanks everyone in advance!

Can't go wrong with this motherboard: It's a ASRock 990FX Extreme3, don't go 970 or anything as 990FX are the best chips for the AM3 Socket, that'll start you out strong. Te 990FX boards have much better OC then the 970 or below.

PSU:

This is $109.99, slightly over but is a high quality Corsair PSU and 750 watts, an extremely reliable and high quality PSU.
Corsair TX750 V2 750W

Well great, that pretty much solves my question then. I do have a question though, since you said that the asrock moo is good for over clocking, I should be able to get a good overclock out of my 8320, and then for the power supply, would the gs series possibly e better or would the tx do better for longevity and what not?
And is there anyone else that can back up what he is saying? Anyone that has these mobo/psu that can confirm this? I've heard of asrock before and they seem to be pretty good mobo makers. Thanks

You can get some decent OC from the 8320 from that motherboard, I would go to 4.7/4.8GHz. Don't be prepared to make unstable OC from the 8320, as that isn't good.

The TX is better then the GS, The TX has a 5 year warranty compared to the GS's 3 year warranty, for the extra price on the TX and quality, I'd get it over the GS any day. 2 Years extra warranty is heaps. Both are 80+ BRONZE but for the extra warranty the TX 750W V2 is a much better choice.

ASRock are very good and reliable motherboard makers.

With the mobo, are there options just slightly more expensive that are much better for OC? Or should I just stick with this mobo as it will allow for plenty of overclock and won't bottleneck any of my system?
