Hoping to get 16GBs. Which is better? Is there another brand/model that I should look into?

Here is my part-list: http://pcpartpicker.com/user/Revxltage/saved/3FM0

There isn't a really big difference in performance. You can also try Corsair Vengeance, but they tend to be more expensive. I recommend 8Gb of DDR3-1866 MHz CAS 9 for gaming.

Well I planned on doing a lot things on this PC.. Gaming, school, programming, video editing, etc. Do you think that this would change the type of RAM that I should get or no?

Nope, get the cheaper one. Unless you're doing professional video editing (projects at least 1 hour long), you don't have to worry.

Either the Snipers or the Tri's would be good with your rig, would suggest looking at 2133/9 sticks, Haswell likes fast DRAM and with video type work the extra bandwidth would be nice, prices are about same for 1866 and 2133
