I'm looking to build a gaming pc capable of running all games on maximum settings. I will also use this pc for large file transfers and conversions and occasionally editing. Below is a run-down of the parts I'd like but I'm also looking to include an SSD with capacity between 250-500GB. I live in Australia. I will run Windows 8 and the monitor i am currently using is ACER G27HL
Thanks

Solution
MoBo is not best choice. If look for Asus PRO or gigabyte UP4 /UD3 UD3 is good if you do not need more than four memory slots. (I have this same mobo and it works fine) If you build this with X-79 2011 cpu you need to go with for memory sticks. LGA 2011 do have four channel memory system.

If yo uwant to go cheaper build then LGA 1150 4770k + good mobo is maybe better choice.

Also you can loo cheaper 1866 / 2133MHz memory. Faster memory is not making much benefit.
SSD is missing and this is most important part for editing pc. Samsung PRO 256GB is good choice.
You can go with smaller 128GB but it will be too small really soon.

Other thing is do you really need sound card? New mobos do have really good sound on board.
Try first and then buy better if you really need better sound card.

You can save lot if you buy good air cooler.

Air coolers are much better. No pump to fail and so on..

Tahts ok, thanks. But you said something about four memory sticks earlier, what did you mean?

Four memory sticks works better with X-79 2011 mobo cpu combo.
Because mobo + cpu do have 4 channel memory architecture.
Edit. This is good memory kit with 2011 build.
