HDD~Current Pending Sector count and Uncorrectable sector count

Hi guys,

I recently scanned my HDD using the crystal disk info. And it showed......
Current pending sector count = 1
And I left it ignored. Now it rose to...
Current pending sector =2
Uncorrectable seector =1 D:

So what can I actually do fix this. Will the full-format helps? Plss gimme some solution. Thanks u !

i have also scanned my external hard drive using crystal disk info,,i looked it up on the internet and i have to return it,,according to them,the hard drive has developed bad sectors,,,you can format it,,but it will only cause the hard drive to ignore those sectors but it will not solve your problem,,so most probably you have to RMA it if its still in warranty
and BTW do not try to defrag the hard drive,,it will make things worse

But if you are lucky,it could be a software issue,,,try checking your hard drive with HDtune,,,do some S.M.A.R.T tests,,if they turn out fine,,then its a s/w error
