Are these components good for gaming?

Solution

How long you can play with certain parts no one can really predict. The 7970 is still a very good gpu and the 4670k a very good cpu about which i've changed nothing in your build just because of that.
In the future you might have to upgrade the hd 7970 or go crossfire to keep playing on ultra with the most demanding games.
Crossfire depends on if your psu will be able to handle that,a minimum of 750watt should do that.

My changes will do nothing about the gameplay.

The ssd for instance just will make your pc faster in general, like with booting or installing/removing programs or do scans for whatever. At least when you install those programs on...

Another cooler, which is a very good one as another option. It comes in different colors.
A different hdd set-up=1x2tb hdd+1x120gb ssd,(!)
Different ram which is a lot cheaper.
A different wifi adapter about which i've read good things, but it's a usb 2.0 adapter which will need to be placed outside the case,it doesnt look that great but you can change where to the place it on your desk which might give a better signal.

With these changes even saved you something which could be spend elsewhere or not at all.
