Computer keeps freezing.

Alright so first specs.

GPU: GeForce GTX 780 Ti
CPU: AMD FX 9590
Motherboard: ASUSTeK M5A99X EVO R2.0
10 gigs of RAM
OS: Windows 7

[Side note: I just upgraded to the 9590 CPU last night from the AMD 8350 if this info helps at all]

1st problem:

So previously, I had bought some new RAM (2 Crucial 8 gig DDR3 sticks) and with them socketed my computer kept blue screening with the ''STOP: 0x0000007E'' error code. It kept blue screening everytime 5 minutes or less after I went to play anything. So idk what to do there.

2nd problem

I figured it was my RAM that was causing the problem so I put my old RAM back in and took the new ones out. The blue screening stopped but now my computer randomly freezes at random times whenever i'm in-game. So I haven't a clue as to how to fix this. I looked into the Event Viewer and this error repeats itself a few times so i'm suspecting whatever this is is what is causing my comp. to freeze:

Any thoughts on how to fix?

  1. Also, the temperature inside is fine. Just want to make sure to add this in before anyone asks.
