My god! Man what it is with 4 780 Tis'. Don't go for this. TOTAL OVERKILL. With this quad SLI you will be needing near about 1300W+ PSU.

Though you could have sticked with two 780 Tis where 850W PSU would be sufficient for your requirement.

You actually don't need VGA cooler (unless you are using hydro series graphics cards)

You don't need RAM cooler. It is a glitch and nothing by Corsair. I'm using 32GB kit of Corsair Dominator Platinum.

Ensure that you have high air flow inside the chassis.

Now for you query of storage config:

You can use any combination of SSD with HDD. The only limitation is the no of SATA ports on mobo. It would be nice to have SSD+2 HDD. You can have 2 SSD + 2 HDD as well. No issue at all.

1. Yes you can have combination of HDD/SSD/ODD, as long you have enough SATA connections on your motherboard. Most boards have atleast 6.

2. I can't give you advice on a PSU, since you didn't list your motherboard, CPU and GPU, these are the crucial parts for choosing a PSU

Yes the CPU cooler will easilly fit in the 900d.
You don't need a seperate gpu cooler(deepcool v4000) and the Memory cooler you can ditch to.

You want to use 4(!) 780ti's?
That complete overkill, why not get 1 or 2?
For 4 you want a 1350w PSU atleast, for two you're fine with 850

A 780ti draws 250w each, the rest of your rig 200w, which puts you at 1200w. Looking at your setup you also want to overclock which puts you well over 1250w.

You can use 2 psu's,but you need to link them with a adapter together, otherwise only the PSU connected to the motherboard will start.

Where do want 4x780ti for btw?

i think u mean why do i want 4 780 ti's,Because i dont want to have any trouble to the future u know there might be an awesome graphics mod or a game that has better graphics than the division and Crysis 3,because im into graphics mods thats why i want to buy that many 780 ti's,so it will last longer and im not going to overclock.

so if i go with 3 780 ti's or 3 titans what would be the power requirement be? can you atleast pick 1 for me here because i cannot buy anywhere else http://dynaquestpc.com/product-category/components/power-supply-psu/power-supply-psu-1000w-1500w/ thanks man

Dear go with this one:

http://dynaquestpc.com/product/seasonic-x-1050-80palus-gold-full-modular-psu-1050w/

It has 87Amps on +12V rail and it is 80+ Gold so it is powerful and efficient. It will also ease your cable management (though cable management has nothing to do with performance of the PSU)

Happy Hunting!

so i have no way of doing 4 GTX 780 ti's ? and about that psu u sent me,i wont have any problems if i use that psu right i mean it can power the whole thing even the fans in the chassis?

I'm still recommending you to go for 2 780 Tis. However this PSU is for the setup with 3 780Tis and it will be plenty for your complete rig. No worries.

im buying 2 Western Digital Caviar Black 4TB but on the SDD how many can i put in the motherboard i picked this is the SDD i picked Crucial M500 480GB Solid State Drive

Edit: and are u sure i dont need memory cooler and vga cooler?

Hopefully, you would have selected FZEX serial WD 4TB Black Caviar not FZEX serial WD 4TB Black Caviar.

Dear, one 240GB SSD with two 4TB Black Caviar are more than enough for your storage requirement. Don't spend too much on SSD. Just put your OS, programs and some of your favorite games on SSD and put all other data on high performance WD Black Caviar.

I'm sure that you don't VGA and RAM cooler which is why I recommended that you must ensure high air flow within your chassis.

so i do need the HDD cooler? or not. and for reals i cannot really go with a 1250w power supply and 4 gtx 780ti's? and what do you mean i should've selected an FZEX serial WD 4TB not an FZEX serial WD 4TB Black Caviar????

No you don't need HDD cooler. You can go with 4 GTX 780 Tis and minimum 1300W PSU. My point of view is that you actually don't need this much raw power just for gaming. Even single 780 Ti is powerful enough to fulfill your gaming requirements.

Look for model number of the WD Black Caviar. Check if it has FZEX, FAEX etc

It is WD Black 4 TB SATA Hard Drives ( WD4003FZEX). Good choice. Stick with it.

by the way i am NOT so sure that 4 palit GTX 780 ti's jetstreamed requires an 1300w+ power supply really man? are u even sure because on this current power supply http://dynaquestpc.com/product/corsair-ax1200i-digital-atx-80plus-platinum-modular-psu/ it can power up to 4 TITANS actually because if you see the video in youtube they're building the large pixel collider with this stuff
Graphics card: 4 GTX Titans
Case: Aventum II chassis
MotherBoard: Rampage IV
CPU/Processor: intel i7-4960X
RAM/Memory: Corsair 64 Dominator Platinum DDR3 2400MHz
Hard drive/Storage: 4 TB Black HDD Western Digital
SSD: Cosair 480 GB Neutron GTX
Power Supply: Corsair AX 1200Ii 1200-WATT

so you are telling me that it requires 1300w power supply? but they did use the Corsair AX1200i Digital ATX 80PLUS Platinum Modular PSU which had 1200w and i am not so sure with that psu that u just suggested, and both of the GPU's have the same power consumption so are you really sure that it requires 1300w+ because they did use more stuff than the stuff im going to build,so i am not so sure and i dont really believe you that it requires 1300w power supply, here is the video quickly head to 4:30 at the video and you'll see that it requires the corsair 1200w and not a 1300w one.
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Jt_Sz_srw80

I think I did not make myself clear to you. Reason for 1300 was to give you some headroom which is always nice to have. 1200 will definitely do the job.

Tell me what are you upto? Are going with 3 780 Tis or 4 780 Tis or now TITANs?

im going with 4 780 ti's and the last time you said 1200 cant power the whole thing up? if i go with titans it'll be expensive its like $1000 each? so i'll just stick with the 780 ti's and here you said this

This is what i wrote: "With this quad SLI you will be needing near about 1300W+ PSU"

Correct me if I'm wrong. You are almost arguing with me for 100w difference :)

Efficiency of the PSU can be achieved with two things:

1. PSU is operating at 50-60% of its rated power
2. PSU is drawing full power at 220v

With efficiency you'll have two benefits:

1. Saving in utility bill
2. Less heat

With all this setup, if on average you system draws say 700W so you'll be better off with high power PSU along with headroom.

Is there some thing wrong with these facts.

If you want you may stick with 1200W but remember you'll be overclocking your CPU, your GPUs will be drawing more power as well. You'll be using cooling equipment as well. See the complete picture dear not just what others have done.

If you want go with AX1200. It is a tier 1 PSU with 92% efficiency.

Good Luck
