Hello all,
I am having a dilemma right now, I would like to get an MSI GTX770 4bg (gaming) but the store where I get my stuff says that this card is extremely popular and thus not in stock. They don't know when it will be in stock again so they said somewhere in April, but it has been delayed a couple of times before (first stating it would be available in February, then March and now April). I really want to get a card so I can play BF4 on ultra settings :3 so I went looking for an alternative and they have an MSI GTX780 3gb that will certainly be in stock somewhere in March. The only downside is that it costs 100 euro more than the 770... My question now is: should I wait for the MSI GTX770 4gb Gaming to be in stock again (not knowing when that might be) and save 100 euro or should I get the MSI GTX780 (non Ti) 3gb Gaming and have a guarantee that I'll get it in March?
Thanks in advance,
G

4GB VRAM is only better for 3 monitor gaming. Otherwise the 780 3gb will crush the 770 on a 120Hz monitor.

If price isn't an issue I would go for the 780. It's just a better card. 3GB if VRAM seems more than sufficient for the near future on a single monitor set up.

In threads, articles, and reviews I have read the 4GB version offers little over the 2GB version for the average user. Especially @ 1920x1080.
