Radeon 7770 1gb or Radeon R7 260X OC 2gb?

I'm gonna upgrade my pc soon. Getting 8 gb ram, better cpu etc. This is my 1st upgrade so I wanted to know which would be better value for money? Radeon R7 260x OC 2gb GDDR5 @ 9800 INR or Radeon HD 7770 1gb @ 8214 INR.

Well, if you're wanting to spend less, go for the 7770, it's still a pretty decent card for midrange gaming. If you want the latest, get the R9 260X, both support mantle, but the 260 supports truaudio that is disabled on the 7770. So..
260X = More up to date and better, little more expensive and runs a bit hotter.
7770 = More cost efficient, slower and runs a bit cooler.

Would I have to upgrade anytime soon if I pick up the R7?
P.S: currently I'm gaming at just 1366x768 resolution
