agp graphic card for better performance and display

hello,

I would like to upgrade my older pc performance and display for running graphic desgin program

here are my pc spec:
*amd sempron 2800
*window 7 500gb sata hd
*1 gb ram
*http://www.ebay.com/itm/PC-Motherboard-Shuttle-FX21-V2-...

Quetion:
*which type of graphic card should i purchase pci or agp? (example pls )
*did it worth trying to find a new graphic card?

In my opinion, it's not worth trying to upgrade that system. Your best bet would be to try and salvage a system for free and pull an AGP graphics card from it. Look for an HD2400Pro AGP as your best bet for that system running Windows 7.

Note: I did not note a SATA port on that motherboard so how are you running a SATA HDD?
