How much power would 660ti use for physx only

Ok was able to RMA a 7870 for a 660ti after complaining about having to return it more than once. I'm going to use the 660ti as my physx card with my 770. For those who will say physx is only used for a few games, I know this already. For those who will say the 770 by itself is good enough for physx, borderlands 2 with max physx (drop to 30-40 frames) says its not.

So with that out of the way, anybody know how much power the 660 will use when just doing physx. I've seen charts of it at idle and at full load, but i'm thinking that it wont be at full load while doing physx only. Anybody have a guess of what kinda load/power usage it will see when doing physx only?

It's a very good question, and surprisingly I don't recall ever seeing anyone report on the power level of a dedicated PhysX card. It would be important to know if someone needs to plan for a full SLI power supply with two cards, or if they can get by with just a little more than enough power for a single card.

Most Nvidia cards have three power states, idle/2D/3D. My guess is that a dedicated PhysX card would sit in the middle 2D power state when playing a GPU accelerated PhysX game. If true, then the card would use roughly half the power that it would playing games as the primary graphics adapter.

This is a bit off topic but, who was the manufacturer the card? I need to RMA an MSI AMD card for a second time and I'd like to see if I can go to nVidia.
