Hello everyone, sorry to bother. I have a hefty gaming machine and I wanted to do a fresh reinstall of Windows. I have all the drivers installed and such but I just can't figure out why these things are happening. Games seem to run slower and so does my pc altogether. Here are my specs: http://pcpartpicker.com/p/2XXJA Thanks to all who help. Maybe I should completely wipe my drives and do another reinstall? Thanks.

You only need the one driver for the video card, you would want to update the motherboard drivers as well.
Was this system running a lot faster before? Maybe try an older driver version. Run a few benchmarks with 3DMark as well and find some similar systems to compare the results to.

Did you make any other changes? Increase the game quality or resolution maybe from how they used to be? Did you get a new monitor and running things at a higher resolution now?
Overheating can cause components to throttle back, failing hard drive will make things very slow, virus, too many programs running in the back ground, tough to say exactly what may be the issue without checking all those things. Did things run fine for a bit after you first installed Win 7 with the drivers? If yes, that points to something you are installing at some point.

Hello you two! It's not overheating. The pc was running just fine before I did the reinstall. I just did a complete reinstall again and made sure I deleted the partitions and reformatted everything correctly. I installed only the drivers I need and especially made sure I had my nvidia drivers and such. I am still running games not so well. Maybe either of you have an idea as to why. Do I need more drivers for my vcard to run correctly? Thanks.

I have all of the needed drivers installed and I have double checked. I just did the reinstall like 2 or 3 days ago. Before I did so, it was running fine. I was getting above 200 FPS in CS:GO, just like I usually do. Now, I barely get above 60. I haven't done anything besides the reinstall and no new purchases/part installs. Anybody else have any ideas?
