More about 4770k 4820k
  1. They are pretty similar but for 4820k you need more expensive mobo
  2. It depends on the planned uses, I would not consider the LGA2011 platform unless there is some heavy productivity like editing/rendering planned for it.
  3. yeah i know but im already getting a motherboard that supports the 4820k
  4. i just want to know which to get as they are very similar

You can get only three 4th gen i7 processors for LGA2011 4820k 4930k and 4960x
  6. Well if the board is LGA2011 then the 4770K is not an option being LGA1150!
  7. i know if i buy the i7 4770k then i will change the board and if i buy a i7 4820k i will buy the board thats compatible with it
  8. So what are you using it for? Gaming and general home use 4770K, editing/rendering professional level 4820K.
