ok hi

i am new here well i have had a account but not posted

i am building a new system i paid for all the parts today,i am just waiting for them to arrive now i am very exited lol. My issue is i want to sleeve my cables in red but have never done it before or seen it been done in person, what i was needing to know is the actual size of sleeving i should buy(i mean the thickness) i have a corsair gs800 power supply that already has black sleeving on it.

i want to order the sleeving as soon as possible so i can get that done before the system is built as i dont want to have to take it all apart to sleeve the wires i would rather have it done before building

- SHOULD I SLEEVE OVER EXISTING SLEEVING?
- WHAT SIZES DO I NEED?
- SHOULD I BUY 3 DIFFERENT SIZES?
- WHAT TO USE ON THE END OF THE SLEEVING(SAME AS CORSAIR)?
- IS IT HEATSHRINK ON THE END OF THE SLEEVING?

i know i will be able to do the sleeving no problem but i am not good with measurments so i need some help with the sizing, i will be sleeving all the wires that can be seen and also the ones that wont be seen but could be in the future. i am going to do a tidy job similar to the way corsair has done the sleeving on my psu what i was also wondering. what is the stuff they use on the end of the sleeving to hold it tight and make it look clean? i definately want to use that as it looks really stock and proffesional it looks like heatshrink to me but i am not sure i dont want to use cable ties or something i definately want it the same as my corsair sleeving but showing a bit less cable at the ends.

I wanted this

if someone wants to give me there opionon on the amd hd6990 and give me a alternative choice on roughly the same price range of around £200 max but i would push slightly higher if someone reccomended something much better than the 6990 i thought of saving a couple of months and getting a titan but i am not sure? is there anything cheaper that is very close to the titan?

i need to know what thickness of sleeving i need as i have never done it before and have trouble with measurements.

should i buy more than one size and if so what ones? my corsair gs800 psu already has black sleeving should i cover it rather than remove?

what do they use on the end of the sleeving?i have seen cable ties but done want that i want the heat shrink looking stuff like on the corair sleeving
