ATX vs mATX

I'm building a i5-4440, GTX 660, 2x4 GB RAM gaming PC, and I am choosing between a bit cheaper mATX boards, or slightly more expensive ATX ones. I'm not going to be adding many other parts to the setup (not even a sound card as of now). Both have the slots and sockets I want in my PC, so it's basically all about the size.

Is it OK to save up some money and go for a mATX board? Could this pose any problems, like worse airflow, difficulties in assembly or possible problems with upgrading? The price difference is not big, obviously, but if the size doesn't matter at all I'd rather buy the cheaper one and pick up a game on Steam.

It looks on your post that you will be just as happy with a mATX board and nothing wrong with that and totally trouble free. Really the main difference is in amount of expansion slots.
