Memory issue with EVGA motherboard. I had 2 8GB G.Skill DDR 3 1600 installed in the motherboard and was told by a local computer tech that the bios would not support that. The motherboard has 686 AMIBIOS 1999 followed by XG 44 3903. According to EVGA specs the memory should be compatible.

It is a new build and system would not boot. The post code on the board was just C with nothing installed on the motherboard except the CPU with is the Sandy Bridge i3 2120. EVGA thought is might be the CPU but the computer tech thought it was that the memory was not compatible with the BIOS.
