Hi,
I'm doing my first pc build. does this look like a good layout?
Intel Core i5-4670 3.4GHz Quad-Core Processor
Gigabyte GA-Z87X-UD3H ATX LGA1150 Motherboard
Kingston HyperX Blu 8GB (2 x 4GB) DDR3-1333 Memory
Western Digital WD Blue 500GB 2.5" 5400RPM Internal Hard Drive
EVGA GeForce GTX 760 2GB Video Card
XFX 550W 80+ Bronze Certified ATX Power Supply
Do you think that's good for gaming?

Get a 7200RPM 3.5" Hard Drive. Otherwise, I don't see any problems.

If you buy Z-87 mobo you kind need 4670k cpu. Or if you go with non k cpu buy cheaper B-85 mobo.
If you OC buy cpu coler. This is good one.

Better psu is rosewill / superflower.

Id look faster memory. good buy is 1866 or 2133 / 2400MHz.
If you go with 4670 then 1600MHz is fine.

Id look for asus /gigabyte or msi video card. They do have better cooler soluton
