Well, I am an editor and use programs like Adobe After Effects and Cinema 4D.
And I really like the case, it's big and looks cool.
And I have this system already, so should I buy a new graphics card?

Dual 660s in SLI are better than the 680 in SLI supported games?

I have a Chieftec psu.

That PSU NEEDS to be replaced for sure. It is junk. Corsair, Antec, XFX, Seasonic ONLY.

And only SOME games will the 660SLI perform better and even then, not by much.

A 680 is definitely the better choice. IF you already have a 660 you can add another, but in games without SLI, you will still be left at medium settings.

I has 2 660s.

Also I have ran that same exact PSU with a 4960X and a Titan. (Gave it to a friend 4 a week)

It was stable AF!

Couldn't find any real tests of that PSU, but the other units in its series and junk. They barely meet ATX specifications for a PSU. Chieftec is not a very good brand in general and I would honestly replace it. Yes it might use Channel Well as an OEM, but even Channel Well is average at best. The Channel Well Corsair units are NOT recommended.

Well, I have it and a Corsair CX 750W would cost me 120€, but the Chieftec was like 50€.

And, I don't have the money to spend on a new PSU.

The Cx series from Corsair is not recommended. They are not great. Coincidence that they, too, are made by Channel Well.

The PSU is 1000% the most important part of the PC by far and the LAST play to cheap out on. A low end unit can fry your whole computer easily and warranties DO NOT cover that.

I already have the system built, and its stable AF.

Look, being stable has nothing to do with quality at all. You might be running that unit on the ragged edge of it parameters and have no idea. It is not a great unit. Plain and simple. It has a poor quality protection circuit. Chieftec is notorious for this. If there is a power outage or a surge, it could easily fail and damage your system.

They will not have any valuable information to be honest. They are just sales people. They never stress tested it, load tested it, ripple tested it. Nothing. They sell it in their store. Of course they will say its good. Going and asking about it is pointless.

The shop builds compters too. They have pre-built computers with this exact psu. I think they would put a good psu in a 2500 euro pc?

No, plenty of shops use junk. The shop near me will of course recommend a better unit but will be more than happy to use something terrible. The Chieftec isn't total junk, but it isn't great either. If you are willing to assume the risk that if it fails, your computer could be ruined, that's fine. I'm not saying that will happen. Chances are it won't, but it is just slightly more likely than if you had a good quality unit in there.
