Problem with installing Windows (Asus Maximus VI Hero)

Hey guys, hopefully a quick and easy question.

I just got my computer finally set up, and just managed to finally get the HD/SSD/Optical Drive read in the sata ports. Everything is going smoothly, other than getting the OS installed!

I have the disk inside of the Optical Drive, and tell the BIOS to boot from the optical drive, but it "restarts" and ends up back in the BIOS.

Any suggestions of what I'm doing wrong?

try disconnecting the HDD data or power cable (assuming you are wanting to install the OS onto the SSD)

have you tried enabling legacy mode? your DVD might not support booting in UEFI mode

Hmm, I don't even get the "loading windows" kind of start-option. I say to load from optical drive, screen goes black, goes back to BIOS. Nothing with windows even pops up?

the reason it does not recognize the DVD as a bookable media and since the is not OS on the HDD or SSD it reboots back to the BIOS.
