Currently I'm trying to install a PNY VCGGTX7704XPB-OC GeForce GTX 770 4GB inside the PCI slot of my Asus Maximus VI Hero. My situation is that the computer will boot up fine when the Video card is not installed, but the minute the video card is installed to a (1) 8pin to 8pin cable and a (1) 6pin to 8 pin; all hooked up my 760W PSU, It doesn't even power up. I know the Manufacturer asks for a 600W PSU so I thought this wouldn't be a problem once I purchased it. I have no idea what to do next Please help, Thanks.

This computer is currently configured as described:
• Asus Maximus VI Hero (latest Bios)
• 16GB DDR3 (dual 8GB) 1600
• Intel i7 4770k 3.5ghz
• Windows 8.1 Pro x64
• Noctua NH-D14 Cooler
• Seasonic SS-760XP2 760 WATT PSU
• CM Storm 2 Advance Case Mid ATX Case

Solution
SOLVED!!

It's in ADVANCED MODE -> EXTREME TWEAKER -> TWEAKERS' PARADISE -> PCI TUNING = INTERNAL GRAPHICS FROM [AUTO] TO [DISABLE] (That's page 3-18 at the very top of the maximus VI Hero user guide)
Also this site helped me tremendously : http://rog.asus.com/254052013/maximus-motherboards/recommended-settings-for-overclocking-maximus-vi-motherboards/

Also DON'T USE the 8 pin to 8 pin to connect to the card. Use two 6 pin PCI-e to 8 pin connectors. Just fill in the 8 pin connector with the 6 pin + 2 little connector built into the cable or just try the 6 pins by themselves. The other 6 pin connects fine. How does that look?

Hi! Your explanation is quite simple and correct. My doubt with this VC is that it comes just with one 2x6 pin cable (I think it should be connected to my PSU and the another end should be a 8 pin connector to my 8 pin VC connector). So what about the connection between my PSU and the 6 pin VC connector. This cable doesn't come at the box. May you please explain this? Thanks!
