seeing as I cant find another sapphire 7970ghz vapor-x anywhere(thanks miners.....NOT!). would trading my gfx card for 2 msi twin frozr 4gb 680's + $350 sound reasonable? I know I don't need 4gb cards as I only have 1 1080p monitor. any input from you guys to ease my mind would be helpful.

More about : sound good deal

You could sell your 7970 for lot of money (thanks miners) and buy two new GTX770!

thats what i did with my 7950. I sold it, made money and got a 760 with two games I wanted to buy anyways. Came out with more money, more games and a slightly better GPU.

I also suggest you try to sell your 7970 and purchase something whatever nvidia gpu is best within the amount of money you get for it. I know last I looked they were selling upwards of 400 but maybe they are more now. for 400 you could get a nice 770 or add some to it and get a 780 or dual 770s.

to answer your question no thats not a good deal.
