seeing as I cant find another sapphire 7970ghz vapor-x anywhere(thanks miners.....NOT!). would trading my gfx card plus $350 for 2 msi twin frozr 4gb 680's sound reasonable? I know I don't need 4gb cards as I only have 1 1080p monitor. any input from you guys to ease my mind would be helpful.

My mistake, missed the 2. Personally I wouldn't do it, at 1080p you aren't going to get much more performance than what you have now. You might be better off just selling the 7970 when Maxwell rolls around and putting the cash towards a card in the $600 range.
