i believe you should provide us with a bit more information.

why exactly are you wanting an upgrade?
what is wrong with your current board?
what are your future plans?

a 970 chipset motherboard is more than capable of overclocking and isnt a bad motherboard in its own right.

if you MUST upgrade....
my personal choice would be to stick with asus (though maybe not the crosshair z) however asrock boards arent bad. i dont care for some of the software though (the superspeed usb software killed my flash drive)

Hello SSDDX
After Software Problems regarding Browser and games leading into an unpleasant encounter with an Angry GM from Planetside 2. And after ensuring my computer runs smoothly now. i still have freezing in Games, Browers and Softwares. The only Reason known to me at this point is the Motherboard not working properly. but maybe i just have to keep searching for more problems

before blaming hardware did you completely check the software side of things out?

for example did you try games with a fresh windows install and the bare minimum of programs installed (drivers only) ?

Reinstalled Windows formatted every Harddisk. Still same thing. I did loose the lag. but the browser keeps freezing from time to time. everything else has been worked out. But i'm not really sure that my main HD is that good anymore. The Collling of the system was for some reason off the maindisc. (... thinking ...) . §§°#@§°#@ i guess my HD is to blame. or my stupidity not checking the cooling correctly. Sorry. guess i got the problem will try a new HD. maybe that will help.

if you have a slow or failing hard drive it could cause freezing.

just trying to isolate the issue so that it gets fixed.

i'd hate to see you go out and buy a new motherboard only to have the same issues re-appear.

if it turns out that its not the hard drive....

post your results here for some additional assistance.

often figuring out the culprit can take some time and testing.
