For a system using a single AMD Reference Design Radeon R9 270X graphics card AMD specifies a minimum of a 500 Watt or greater system power supply. The power supply should also have a maximum combined +12 Volt continuous current rating of 30 Amps or greater and have at least two 6-pin PCI Express supplementary power connectors.

Channel Well Technology GPA Series 450W (GPA450P)
• maximum combined +12 Volt continuous current rating of 30 Amps
one 6-pin PCI Express supplementary power connectors

I wouldn't recommend it.

What about a R9 270? It only uses one 6 pin PCI-E

connector.

What is your complete system specifications?

Intel i7 3770 @ 3.4GHz
8GB DDR3 RAM
ECS H61H2-MV Motherboard
MSI Radeon 7770 GHz Edition @ 1000MHz
2TB 7200 RPM HDD
DVD/R Disc Drive
2x USB (front of the case)
Stock Intel CPU cooler.

Now that I think I can get some money for a new psu, I have been thinking about getting this psu: http://www.scan.co.uk/products/550w-xfx-core-edition-p1...

Do you think that it's a good psu? Spec wise, it seems to be very good for the price. It has a lot of connections and is efficient. If you recommend me another psu, keep it under £55 ;)  Thanks for all the help so far!
