New GTX770 reaching 80c

I recently installed my new GTX770, and downloaded SpeedFan, to check my temps when in game. I've been playing games such as BF4 and getting 80c, apparently there is a program to adjust the GPU's fan speed to keep it cooler?

Who is the manufacturer of the card? If it is a EVGA card you can use the EVGA Precision X tool to manually adjust the fan speeds.
The fans should be default set to auto adjust to the cards temp regardless of manufacturer. If you think that the card is heating too quickly, then I'd check the rooms ambient temp to make sure that it isn't the room that is keeping the card from not dispersing heat fast enough.

Get a thermometer sick it in the room for a few hours. If the ambient temp is above is 70F then you will need to do something to either change the temp or relocate your computer to a different place.
