What do you think the FPS would be on BF4 ultra settings? I'd rather not have charts and stuff just give me a range.

More about : fps gtx 770 2gb bf4 ultra

Put it back to stock clocks and try it again. Sometimes overclocks can be unstable and cause fps to be worse. Are you playing multiplayer online or Playing campaign offline?

I agree get rid of the overclock and make sure you have a decent cpu cooler and it's installed correctly.

It's possible that the cpu is overheating - what make and model of the 770 do you have?

My guess is gigabyte

My guess was correct, I suggest you send it back and get the Asus if possible.

What cpu cooler are you using?

What power supply?

What case?

What ram?

what motherboard?

I suggest you get an Corsair H80i or H100i, your cpu uses lot of power and runs hot.
These cpu coolers are also easy to install.

Make sure our ram is running at 1600 and set up correctly.

I suggest changing your power supply to at least a tx 650 however preferably a rm 650.
The CX series is not designed for hardcore gamers, I had one and upgraded to the 860i

Are you able to give back your 770? if yes get a reference 780 if you have the budget for it or a asus 770 if it fits in your case.

The Windforce coolers have lots of problems. Thats why my guess was GIGABYTE.

That's why I suggest you Send it back however your problem might be the psu or cpu cooler or another faulty component you will need to solve this by trail and error.

So what is the issue. Why do i need new parts. Tell me what the issue with my parts are and why they are affecting the FPS in BF4. I really don't think i am hardcore either. I just want to play it and i thought this gpu would be able to handle it...

What are the problems with windforce? Why do alot of people buy gigabyte if they are so messed up?

How do i fix this.

I would monitor my CPU speed during gaming and see if there is any kind of CPU slow down, I have not seen any particular issues with the windforce more than any other 770 card.

I'm kind of shocked no one has posted a youtube video here. Youtube can help alot with if you want to know how said component performs, alot of people upload these videos.

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=FwNg1NUQGPo

^This guy was using a EVGA GTX 770 at stock speeds.

^Guy just playing

^This guy even posted his average FPS with / without recording. So this might help you drastically.

HW Monitor is a good cpu monitor that will display your cpu performance while gaming.

Gigabyte have a lot of problems with their windforce stuff.
I owned a windforce card and I will never buy or recommend one again.

People buy gigabyte GPU's because they have a good reputation making motherboards and offer cards with decent factory overclocks. Not all but many of there cards have issues. " Again I suggest you buy a Asus"

I suggest you download OCCT and do a stress test because I'm not sure if that cpu cooler is adequate for your cpu if you use it for gaming.

I recommended a entry level gaming psu it's not hardcore, the reason I recommended the corsair cooler is because it's easy to install and is a good cooler. A cpu that isn't installed correctly with a under powered cooler
can cause problems.

Your average fps should be over 40f fps in bf4, your pc is not configured properly. You will have to fix it by trail and error. My suggestions will increase overall stability of your system.

Make sure all your cores are unparked, Many people are saying their problems were solved after unparking cores.

I had a solid 3700mhz while gaming. No drops, just the low fps.

Could be the RAM or the processor.
Here's a video that shows the GTX 770 in action paired with an I5 4440 (4 x 3.1 ghz) and 8GB of RAM.
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=iNkxeoS5BF4
If you're running low on RAM, that could be the cause of lag, as I was on a 32-bit operating system when I first got bf4, which restricted my RAM.
