How do I wake up my gateway computer (windows 7) using the mouse rather than the power button?

Just move the mouse a couple of times. If it's a wireless mouse it obviously has to be switched on first.
There may also be a "Wake Up" key on the keyboard - you can press that instead (that's how I do it).
