Solution
How old is your PC? Specs please.

If you try to change all the SATA cables, try using another Power Supply,

Happen to me once, Hard Drive cannot detect due to low supply of power.

umm. thats what i do to get it started (idk what sata cables are) there are two cables attached to my harddisk. i unplug em. unplug the circuit board over the hardisk. then i replug both of em and start. how to check if they are faulty or not? and from the past few days this has become frequent. my pc suddenly lags up and freezes while working. then when i restart it. i see the error and my harddisk seems all heated up within 1 hour. so it would really be nice if anyone could explain simple and in detail
