Is the Coolermaster EVO 212 supposed to cover all of my FX 8320's surface?

I recently finished building my first PC and decided to install an after market cooler, EVO 212. I installed it so the fan was facing the front of the case. After putting it all together, I noticed the flat surface that's supposed to touch the back of the cpu doesn't cover ALL of it but is instead sitting to the side (By a mm maybe).

I tried to install it a different way but it seemed to always sit the same, so I booted the system of just to see temps and they were fine. I'm just wondering if I should try again to reinstall the heatsink so that it covers every mm of the cpu or if it's fine?

Solution
It's fine. I reality the core die of the chip is maybe 1/5th the size of the surface you see. It's right in the middle and that is where 99% of the really comes from

Ok I'm glad. The installation wasn't really smooth. The heatsink kept getting in the way of the screws and the scissor like latch that goes in the middle was a pain to tweak to get it to fit, so I was worried that i might have just forced it.
