(FIXED) "USB Device Current Over Status Detected" on P8Z68-V

Got this error which restarts my pc after it had been abruptly shutdown. I had accidentally yanked out the optical audio cord, which was connected to my headphones, causing my pc to shutdown. This has happened many times before, but I've always been able to start back up without any problems. Hopefully this isn't because my motherboard is shot after doing this for the dozenth time.

I already tried unplugging the three USB devices connected to my motherboard (in rear not front ports) and my power supply seems to be in place correctly, so I don't see what else it could be.

  1. Fixed it by booting the motherboard out of case on a nonconductive surface (wood) with only ram installed.
