CPU upgrade for Pentium 4 HT

A few months ago in December I bought a Lenovo ThinkCentre 8705 from like 2005, and I want to know what CPU I can upgrade to, I don't really plan to game on the PC I just want to upgrade it to make it fast enough to watch HD Youtube Videos without lag, and I don't want to have an ancient CPU like the Pentium 4, because it is Netburst, and it is really ancient technology.

Current Specs
Power Supply 250W PSU
CPU: Intel Pentium 4 HT 541 3.29Ghz
CPU SOCKET: LGA755
GPU: NVIDIA GeForce GT610
RAM: 2GB DDR2 RAM
HDD: 200GB Hard Drive
Operating System: Windows 7 64-Bit

IDK what motherboard i have, and I don't want to get any hate for buying an old PC in the first place, or to toss my piece of **** in the trash, because I bought it for $35 at a yard sale, and it seemed very cheap for me, and the PC works fine with Windows 7.

It won't play youtube videos without lag? I have to wonder if it wouldn't be faster with WinXP instead of Win7. I still have 2 PCs from circa '05 that are still usable for everyday tasks such as internet and video playback. The specs you mention above would make yours faster than either of mine.

I've tried Windows XP It makes it slightly better, but nothing too noticeable (I have to put the quality all the way down) the lag remains on anything higher than 180p, and I can't do 2 things at once, and the ability to do so is important for me. What Core 2 Duo CPUs are compatible with my Motherboard?
I checked CPU-Z and this is what it says for my motherboard
