Do you mean that the audio or video lags behind when you plug it in, or you just lose image for a couple seconds when you connect?

The screen on the TV goes blank and displays NO SYNC then goes back to showing the film perfectly the film runs with no problem on the laptop at anytime thanks

That's completely normal and will happen with any TV or computer. It's caused by the small amount of time where the TV and the laptop establish a connection. Nothing to worry about.
