I've recently been wanting to upgrade my cpu as I've had my good old Phenom II for about 2 years now and I want something a lot faster and more future proof, I have the board to support an FX processor as I have a Gigabyte GA-990fx-UD5 Rev 3.0 and I recently got a Radeon R9 280x. I have a custom cpu fan at the moment which is the Zalman 990Max and I was wondering if this would be okay for the FX9590 as I've been told it runs quite hot and it doesn't come with a fan so I'd rather not spend extra money on top of that but I am willing if its needed.
