My pc games don't work (Most time)

Hi, when i start a non steam pc game like, total war rome (2), or GTA IV is loads, and then it just dissapears to become a pictogram. But sometimes the game does load and i can just play. Can anyone help me?

well, u can see if ur pc is able to run anything on any of the following websites, all u have to do is follow their steps:

(3)http://www.game-debate.com/

(4)http://en.checkreq.com/

other than that maybe there is a problem with the copies
