Hello,

I'm new to overclocking and i want to know what programs should i use to overclock my CPU.
I have i5-4670k, ausus z87-c, Thermaltake NiC c4. I never did overclock before and i dont want to damage my system. So please tell me what programs to use and how to overclock.

Solution
First of all to overclock your cpu , you need no programs as it is done from the bios. There you will see the overclocking menu. And you will see the cpu base clock. It will be 100mhz then you will have the multiplier. To overclock , you must increase the multiplier. if the multiplier is 31, you cpu speed will be 3100mhz(3.1 ghz). it is done by multiplying the multiplier and the base clock. Dont change the base clock( you may damage your system if you do so) but change the multiplier. Change it to certain value then check for stability. if it is stable you can increase it more otherwise you must increase the voltage of you cpu( i dont recommend it to newbies). your best bet is to put it at the last stable value.
