Hi, I am planning on making a new computer. After some research I really like the i7 4770k and the I5 4670k. I am not sure which one to buy yet, but the ones that I like use the S1150 socket. My current computer uses the S1155 socket, for which I bought the CoolerMaster Hyper 212 Evo. But I checked out the packaging of the fan, and it says it'll fit on S1155, 1156 etc, but it doesnt say anything about the S1150.
However after a little search, a few people said that the cooler from a S1155 WILL fit on a S1150 because they use the same placement holes. Can anyone confirm this? As this will play a small factor in which CPU generation I'll buy.
