How much psu does this build need?

Hi, my friend is building a gaming pc but he doesent know how much wats is the computer going to need
His gonna use a FX-6300 and a evga gtx 660, 8gb of ram and 1tb

A 550 watt or a 600 watt would do just fine. I personally love the Corsair TX 600, and that would be great for his build. If you want to go cheaper you can use the CX 600, which is a lower quality PSU, but is still a good quality one from the same company.

CX600 is a cheap power supply with bad capacitors.

I recommend you go with the xfx 550 watt

I personally don't have any experience with XFX brand PSUs, but it seems they have a good rep, so if you can get one for a decent price go for it. But although the CX 600 is on the cheap side, the TX 600 is a great power supply unit.
