ok getting multiple bsod's dunno what they are from i just updated my bios heres my specs:

AMD 8350 4.0ghz
windows 8
8gb DDR3 ram
Nvidia Geforce GTX 770
Samsung 840 EVO SSD 120gb
WD 2TB hdd
ASUS M5A97 R2.0

And you have the question, since you stated just built.
If you used the old boot hard drive with windows on it.

In that case since you changed the board, cpu ect.
A fresh install of windows is needed to set the system up right.
Because windows is trying to work with all the drivers used in the prior board and setup.

By not doing a fresh clean install of windows it`s BSOD heaven.

It has to be a clean fresh install of windows.
It indicates someone has moved a hard drive from one system to another expecting windows to work with it.
windows will simply not play ball if it was setup via another motherboard first ect.

I bought everything new, the drive with windows on it is the SSD. I was having BSOD issues, couldnt figure it out so I reformatted, still getting the problem, usually happens when watching Netflix. All my drivers are current. sometimes the screen flickers also. How do I clear my CMOS?

If it's both of them (CLOCK_WATCHDOG_TIMEOUT and SYSTEM_SERVICE_EXCEPTION) then I think that what you do is try to see if the Basic Input Output System has any issues.

I started having this same issue recently, right after installing a new steam game. The CLOCK_WATCHDOGS_TIMEOUT is a new one. I've gotten the SYSTEM_SERVICE_EXCEPTION before.

I have almost the exact same rig as OP.

AMD FX 8350
EVGA GTX760
8GB HYPER-X blu RAM
Kingston 120gb SSD
WD 1TB HHD
ASUS M5A97 R2.0 MB9
Windows 8.1
Corsair cx600 psu

Edit: I originally thought it may have to due with a new BIOS update I performed a few weeks ago. I remember when I first built the PC that I would never hear a system beep after posting. After the BIOS update I got a system beep every time I start the computer. The PC would boot fine I just thought that it was a feature added to the new BIOS. I started to use prime95 and memtest86. During the stress test of prime95 and after using memtest with no errors I would quit the program and get the bsod right after.

I got no errors from memtest86 and immediately after reboot I got the bsod. While using prime95 for about a minute 3 of my cores got a fatal error and stopped running, all other cores comtinued with no problems. I looked hard at the bios and noticed that my ram frequencies weren't right. I was supposed to be getting 1600 and I was getting a very random number of 1151. 1600 wasnt even in the list of timings to choose from. I read that using default optimisation im BIOS might help. Hit f5 and immediately got the original memory timings back. I was able to choose 1600 and rebooted.

Now there are no errors in prime95 and I watched a few vids that were crashing my system before and the PC stood strong. I havent tested GRID yet because I uninstalled the game thinking that was the issue. Will try that later on after I stress test all my hardware.

Might be of some use to the OP since there is similar hardware.
