Here http://community.eidosmontreal.com/blogs/Thief-PC-Requirements?theme=thief it says: CPU: AMD FX 8000 series or better / Intel Quad i7 Core CPU at the recommended Specs.
The question is, how bad is my FX-6350 for this game? I mean, I don't have problems with other games, and I can multitask a lot...but really? an AMD FX 8000 series or better? Intel Quad i7?
My GPU si good (R9 270) and I don't think I will have problems...(heck, I play BF4 on ultra with no lag)...but my CPU...for this game...

it really should be fine, Ubisoft loves exaggerating their system requirements, I really doubt that an i5 or any regular quad core won't be able to play any of Ubisoft's upcoming games, that would be absolutely stupid from a sales point of view.

your FX 6350 should be fine, it's a FX 8350 with 2 threads missing, but is still a true 6 core processor, there should be no reason for it not to work

Agreed. Your FX-6350 CPU will do just fine since it has 6 cores. In fact your system should be able to run the game at high to ultra setting without any problems.

Quick note (correction :)), Thief is being developed by Eidos Montreal and published by SquareEnix (not Ubisoft).

LOL, I used to do the same. I worked at Eidos for about 6 years, was there during the "transition" period, which resulted in the acquisition by SCI (a small British publisher) in 2006, and eventually sold the company to SquareEnix two years later. :)
