I have an assembled desktop, with AMD FX 6100, 3.3 GHz, 8 GB DDR3, ASUS M5A78 LM-LX Mobo without a graphic card. Which one should get me going good according to my specs? Please suggest me both, the most cost effective and the most performance effective graphic card!!!
Thanks

Because best in your case would be gtx 760 if you are looking for best budget gpu.

depends on what youre willing to spend if you want to go budget but good performance of the dollar I say the r9 270. Its around 200 usd and works very well for that price.

Nvidia 750 Ti is a good buy, and this is coming from an "AMD guy". I just can't argue with the price to performance on that one...

You won't be able to have any better gpu at 5K. Minimum gpu you should be getting is at least is HD 7770:

which is 8k inr if you looking for at least decent performance.

The GTX 750 just came out in America on February 18 for $120 US, but I fear it may be more in India. There is one at Flipkart, but it is not in stock, yet.

You can read about here:
http://gadgets.ndtv.com/laptops/news/nvidia-geforce-gtx...

You should have a variety to choose from:
The launch in India has been coordinated with the rest of the world, with graphics cards based on the GeForce GTX 750 Ti and GeForce GTX 750 launched simultaneously by Asus, Zotac, Palit and other Nvidia board partners. The cards will be available with reference as well as custom designs right from the launch day.

You never said if you want to play games and what resolution you would want to play at.

What power supply do you have?

hi pranaykaparwan
It depends on what application you are using the card for ?
are you gaming ? rendering ? both ?
It is hard to suggest a card without knowing what you want it for
