I currently have a 850 (XFX Pro Black edition gold certify) PSU and I'm running 1 x Zotac 780 AMP.

I should be receiving my second Zotac 780 AMP this week.

I know that a good 850 watt is strong enough for a gtx780 sli... but what about the zotac Amp edition.. some reviews suggest that it consumes up to 100 watt more than a normal (non-oc) GTX 780.

Will my power supply be strong enough?

PS: I'm running a 4770k currently not oc, but will be eventually, also received my Noctua nh-d14

I have two of the Zotac OC edition in SLi. From what I saw the power req's were the same for these Zotacs as the reference 780 cards. Now I do have a 1000w gold psu so I've removed the possible problem if there was one. You should be fine. I will suggest to invest in some extra case fans if you haven't already, especially on the side to blow onto the cards. Two of these in a case while gaming can build up quite a bit of heat.

Thanks guys!

Yes I agree about the fans.. I don't know if they will fit on the side (I have a Phantom 530), we'll see!
