How do i update my bios?

Solution
At this point, I'd just consider a whole new Windows install.

Do you have the Windows activation key? If so, download the relevant Windows 7 ISO here:
http://www.w7forums.com/threads/official-windows-7-sp1-iso-image-downloads.12325/

...reinstall, and activate with your existing key. Install all your other software.

That's what *I* would do. A lot of times it is easier to just start over, rather than trying to 'fix' something.

Or
From your earlier comment about moving cables around, etc....maybe a physical connection still isn't right.

Well ever since i have installed my power supply unit and graphics card the computer freezes constantly... and when i say constantly i mean 20 times a day. Someone told me i should update my BIOS and that will fix it. Maybe you guys might know? My Motherboard is made by Acer i believe as i have googled that and others who have my computer model say so.

Alright ill try to explain everything in detail. About a day ago i got a bluescreen. Then when i went to check my BIOS configurations pressing F2 or del (i forget) it said my computer was running at concurrent 114 degrees Fahrenheit. For all i know that could be the cause of the freezes? Error logs? How can i check. And if you guys think its the heat what should i do? Clean out my fans a little bit?

Well i just went inside my desktop and moved around a lot of Power supply cords and put them away from the fan so that there not blocking it. Already i have seen significant changes, the computer has only frozen once since i have moved the cords around and before i could barely even get on for 15 minutes. Anyway i downloaded cpu-z and what exactly do you want me to show you? Do you want a screenshot?

What are the temps you're seeing under a load?

I can't find my temps when running a hardcore game because i freeze everytime. My computer now runs at about 105F or 40C. Should i system restore my computer or system restart or is this a hardware issue?

I went along and tried to do a system restart (factory reset). It worked but now i am on a screen that says "Setup is starting services" and the white line is loading. But every time i try to power up my system it says " The computer restarted unexpectedly or encountered an unexpected error. Windows installation cannot proceed. To install Windows, click "OK" to restart the computer, and then restart the installation.

Every time i do press OK it just does the same thing and sometimes my computer wont start when i press the power button. Others times it will just say "D Sub Power Saving Mode".

What will i have to do? Buy a whole new computer when i just upgraded this thing?

Very frustrated as of now as i cannot find a single solution.

So i should just burn those files to a CD to install windows 7? How would i start over rather then fixing this problem? If this fails should i just go to my local computer store and ask for a repair? If so how much do those services normally cost?
