Should i go windows 7 instead of 8?

I am building a computer trying to figure out which one to use.
I hate the way windows 8 is set up and i believe its counter intuitive.
Will there be performance cons to using 7 instead of 8?
planning on using a 32 gig system.

I personally prefer WIN 7, easy to work on. And there will be no performance issues with WIN 7 over WIN 8. You will be fine.

What do you mean by (32 gig system) ? 1. 32 bits OS or 2. 32GB of RAM ?

32 bits OS is ok to use, but 32GB of RAM will be an overkill.

lets face it,counter intuitive or not,windows 8 is the faster os here.personally i hate it but with windows 8 classic shell (third party program and free) you can make windows 8 look like windows 7.what i am saying is if windows 7 is the look you want you can have the performance of windows 8 and a familiar look.personally,im wating for windows 9.maybe they will get it right by then.
