I have a new Build and for some reason I can only boot from Bios threw quick boot. I have tried to start it normal and it goes to a automatic repair screen and freezes there or a black screen and freezes there. I have tried to dvd in and it does nothing. I know dvd is working because windows is on hard drive. Just not booting. I have tried to install updates and restarting to see if that would fix problem and nope still threw bios. Thought I would try to re install windows by formatting the hard drive but won't format. Went threw dvd that came with mother board to get to dos not windows.

From here not sure what to do.

CPU AMD FX 8350 8 Core
MOTHERBOARD Sabertooth 990FX R2.0
VIDEO CARD EVGA Geforce GTX 760
CASE Coolmaster CM 690 II Advanced
RAM Patriot Viper DDR3 1600 MHz 16 GB
COOLING Corsair H105 240mm Liquid Cooler
KEYBOARD & MOUSE Genius GX Gaming
OS Windows 8.1 64 Bit Home Edition

I don't understand your question. Are you able to get into Windows and the Desktop/Start Screen? It seems like you are, so that what makes me confused about your post.'

If you don't want Quick Boot enabled, then go into your motherboard's bios and turn it off in Windows 8 Boot Options in the bios. I forget the exact wording how it states it.

Danny2000 Ican get into windows but I have to go into my bios first by pressing delete button and while in there the only way it goes to windows is going threw the bios advanced section and scrolling down past the fast boot to the motherboards quick boot. Hope this make sense
