So I'm looking at getting a laptop that will be used primarily for gaming, would this system be:
A.) upgradeable? (graphics, RAM, processor, etc?
B.) Capable of playing games like Metro: Last light, Skyrim, and Kerbal Space Program?
C.) Relatively future-proof? I plan on having this system for 3 years AT LEAST, with a few upgrades could this system stay capable of playing pretty advanced games?

Long story short your budget isn't realistic. The laptop you would want would be somewhere in the $1,200 -$2,500 range, depending on how nice you want to run advanced games.

For that budget, you are looking at SOME games at mid to low settings, and not anything for extended periods that would overheat it.

If you can't raise the budget, then I'd suggest either the PC or console route. Both could get you a satisfying gaming experience for your money. Better than the gaming experience on that laptop would be. That things gaming standards are more fit for facebook games.

a) Laptops are hard to upgrade, the only thing that's easely upgradable is the RAM

b) it might be able to do that, if you lower your your graphics and make sure it stays cool, becous when your laptop gets warm, it's performance drops

C) this is more of a "internet" laptop, you take it with you to watch you tube and check your email, not to primarily play games on

long story short, if you are playing on gaming, and don't want to spend 1500$ + on a gaming laptop, buy a desktop
