760GM-P23 came with the computer.

I been looking to upgrade to a 970A-G46.

I am upgrading just so I can get the faster USB and SATA ports as well as the extra PCI-E slots for SLI/Crossfire.

my CPU requires AM3+

The one I am looking to upgrade to is bigger and I am just wondering if I should have any concerns. I do have a full tower. but I am just curious if the mounting holes are in the same spots and if everything will fit right. I know these are basic questions but I am new to this and I really appreciate anyone willing to help out.

Know of any better boards for about $100? I just don't like my current board only having the sata 3gb/s and USB 2.0 as I do a lot of transferring and moving files around USB drives.
Something preferably from MSI, I been having a lot of great luck with them but would go with something else if needed.
