Win 7, not sure of the version on a Dell inspiron. I have no installation disc.
I cannot boot my computer. I get a black screen with a 0x000000f error. I DL'ed a Malwarebytes on my memory stick and was able to get a command prompt. I did a "C:\dir" and got a message that c:\ was 'system reserved' I cannot access the Win7 files to boot up. While trying for a week to get the laptop up and going, I have ran across "ntoskrnl in hal.ll is missing', and a 'stop:c0000139'.
Any ideas on how to access my hard drive files and get booted? Thanks!
I know just enough about computers to get myself in trouble, but this has become a mission for me.
