lloking for a new graphics card and not sure what to get.

im looking to uprate my graphics card so i can play with a smother and nicer look. currently i have a amd radeon hd 7570, and i have noticed some games i cant play on any higher then medium quality. a friend has said i would have to make sure it is compatible with my motherboard as well which is MSI MS-7778 (Jasmine). so if any one could help i would be very grateful

GTX 660 or R9 270 will play most games at high settings @1080p where the latter is cheaper.

But if you can tell us what's your budget, what games you play I can refine the search.

We'll the budget probably around £200, but I play a variety off different games for example I can't play Witcher 2 because it has unbelievable frame rate lag

220 GBP is a luxury.

You can get a GTX 760.

MSI N760 TF 2GD5/OC

But I don't know what your CPU is. Check if if you CPU bottlenecks 760.

I'm not very computer literate , how would I find that out . And with the asus or the gtx are they comparable with my motherboard , and what else should I make sure it's compatible with so it will work ???

ok. then GTX 760 should work fine for you. I think you cPU is eithe a A8 or A10 AMD APU which is OK. Once you install GTX 760 your on-board graphics will be disabled automatically. Hope this helps.

BTW what is your current Power Supply ? You at least need 500w PSU.

You might want to watch some youtube videos on assembling a PC. It is simple. But you need to follow certain step for safe installation.

Yes the linked card is what I am talking about. If you dont know what is on-board graphics you can read about it on google. But don;t worry about it much.

For PSU, you can manually check your CPU. It will be written on PSU.

Here are your options for graphics cards:

GTX 750Ti (New release from nVIDIA) It will give you good performance with less heat.

Have budget then go for GTX 760.

Ensure that for GTX 760 you've atleast 500w PSU.
